Who You Are: The ideal candidate will be an experienced HR generalist and leader with a background in fast-paced, hands-on environments, particularly in the manufacturing industry and plant work environments. They should have a proven ability to transform organizations from unstructured environments to scalable business models. Creativity, the ability to develop HR blueprints, and the flexibility to adapt HR practices on the go are essential. This HR professional will provide strategic and functional leadership, shaping Windsor’s workplace culture and driving local leadership development. The role requires strong organizational development skills, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to multi-task in a dynamic environment. The candidate must have a track record of building top-tier HR capabilties, fostering a culture of performance, transparency, and trust. A strong commitment to customer service and a sense of urgency are critical . Excellent communication and presentation skills, along with the ability to collaborate with Centers of Excellence on special projects. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned HR leader with a manufacturing background, capable of driving strategic HR initiatives in a dynamic environment. This role offers significant growth potential and requires a proactive, results-oriented individual to build and/or sustain HR programs and lead a dedicated HR team. Your Impact The company is seeking a Director of Human Resources for their 2 soon to be 3 plants in Windsor production facilities with 400 employees to join the local and HR leadership teams. The Windsor Plants are on the verge of a substantial expansion. This is a newly created role designed to directly influence the future of the firm by partnering with the senior leadership team to drive continued growth. As the Director of Human Resources for the Windsor Plants your mandate will be to build upon the existing HR function that is seen as a strategic partner and integral to the growth of the company. You will be responsible for all facets of Human Resources and will lead significant change initiatives that impact organizational growth, strategy implementation, HR systems, and cultural transformation. You will strategically partner with business units and the senior leadership team to meet the firms goals and own the success of all areas of HR, including operations, talent acquisition, engagement, management, training and development, rewards, retention, and culture. This role reports into the CHRO and oversees a team of 4, plus 3 technical trainers. What Are We Looking For? Candidates must have the following experience to be considered: Overall Experience: 10 years of progressive in Human Resources experience in a manufacturing environment. Leadership: Proven ability to lead and motivate Human Resource professional fostering a culture of performance and accountability. Employee Relations: Expertise in non-union manufacturing environments HRIS Implementation: Proven experience in supporting the implementation of HRIS systems Environment: Ability to thrive in a high-paced environment Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources or related discipline.
