Risk Insurance Manager

Our client in the fashion industry is seeking to hire a Commercial Risk and Insurance Manager at their ville Saint-Laurent office (hybrid: onsite 2-3 days weekly). Necessary Requirements -Strong English with at least functional French -3 years of experience in both commercial insurance and risk management. -Advanced knowledge of Excel including the ability to use spreadsheets, graphing, tables, calculations, and automation to process large quantities of data relevant to business tasks Key Tasks: Claims Management: -Process insurance claims promptly and accurately -Maintain comprehensive records of all insurance policies and claims -Liaise with insurance companies to resolve claims issues and ensure timely settlements Insurance Renewal: -Assess and determine the appropriate coverage levels for the company’s insurance needs -Gather all the information required to launch the renewal process of the different lines of insurance -Review and renew insurance policies annually, ensuring they meet the company’s risk management requirements -Assist the company’s brokers with the negotiation of the terms and conditions with insurance providers Risk Management: -Lead the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) process of the company -Identify, prioritize and monitor the risks, key risk indicators (KRIs), mitigation actions and action plans identified in the company’s ERM process -Develop and implement strategies to build risk awareness among staff through training and support -Create and maintain business continuity plans to mitigate risks and ensure the company can continue operations in the event of a disruption
