About this team The Platform team works closely with business stakeholders and technology teams to create both experience and technical requirements for rich features and functionality for enterprise platforms that support our guest experience. The team works very closely with application teams and product managers in the Cloud & Infrastructure space to ensure roadmaps are created and managed according to the requirements needed to solve high-priority problems. The team is organized, values research, excels at facilitation, problem solving, and bringing the right skill sets together to ensure we have aligned requirements to enhance our guest experience across digital properties. Translating business strategy into feature/project requirements is a specialty of this team. A day in the life Works closely with other Platform Product Managers, Business Owners, and Technology teams to ensure requirements are in place and understood. Responsible for ensuring acceptance criteria is aligned. Works closely with Architects to ensure system implications and dependencies are understood. Facilitates requirement conversations with Technology Teams. • Experience and functional requirements gathering • Owning the Product Roadmap, Initiatives, and Sprint Backlogs • Managing dependencies and architectural decisions during requirements gathering • Aligning overall scope and sequencing recommendations with stakeholders • Utilizing tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Business Process Documentation to facilitate requirement alignment sessions Qualifications • 5 years of Product Manager experience within the Technology industry • Experience providing requirements for medium to large initiatives • Experience working with both agile and waterfall delivery methodologies • Demonstrated experience translating strategy into feature development roadmaps • Demonstrated experience making tradeoffs between business needs and technology constraints while keeping guest needs as a top priority Must-haves • Acknowledges the presence of choice in every moment and takes personal responsibility for their life • Possesses an entrepreneurial spirit and continuously innovates to achieve great results • Communicates with honesty and kindness and creates space for others to do the same • Leads with courage, knowing the possibility of greatness is bigger than the fear of failure • Fosters connection by putting people first and building trusting relationships • Integrates fun and joy as a way of being and working, aka doesn’t take themselves too seriously
