Greven Executive Search has been retained by Arctic Glacier Premium Ice to fill an Area Manager of Continuous Improvement Come to work for a company with an action biased culture where you can use your skills and abilities to get results. Work as a part of a dynamic leadership team where you can make a difference The Area Manager of Continuous Improvement manages the development and implementation of continuous improvement strategies for the manufacturing factories in their assigned area. The Area Manager of Continuous Improvement is responsible for creating and maintaining content and tools for implementation, communication and training. This position must be capable of analyzing data and identifying trends to perform root cause analysis. Ideal candidates will have the following: Bachelor's Degree Experience leading the implementation of Lean, TPM, or similar CI program experiences with a track record of getting results Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment with a strong preference for food or beverage manufacturing Strong interpersonal skills, clear communicator, and demonstrated relationship-building skills. Talented influencer and team builder. Can form a team without official authority to do so and motivate that team to accomplish self-directed goals. Willingness to travel 50% - 75% Progressive experience in manufacturing, including roles leading others and in Production, Technical or Warehouse operations Demonstrated project management skills on cross functional initiatives Proven success in working with people in a change program Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada
