BI Developer/Business Insights Analyst

Working with one of the top financial clients, this role calls for a BI Developer/Business Insights Analyst who will develop an analysis to illustrate business trends and identify areas of business opportunities. This candidate will produce insights and recommend business actions to align with strategy and/or solve business problems and will also provide seasoned specialized knowledge, advice and/or mentorship to various business and working partners. Responsibilities: Represent functional area as an analytics & insights professional and key resource; build positive and productive working partnerships Act as a bridge to translate business requirements to analytics and reporting needs for a given domain Work closely with business partners to gain a deep understanding of the business and relevant objectives in order to guide the strategic direction of the respective business and/or the enterprise. Execute data requests accurately and within a timely manner and provide day-to-day support and delivery of analytics. Work independently as the senior analyst/subject matter expert and may coach and educate others. Considered an authority within a given area Oversee and/or independently perform tasks from end to end Build an understanding of cloud infrastructure and advanced analytics capabilities Act as a lead for the project team in providing guidance on both technical matters as well as the business context of the analytical problems. Work autonomously as well as acting as a lead within a specialized business management function and provide work direction to others Serve as an authority on a given business domain and provide business expertise to place context around analytics discovery and inform recommendations Ensure team collaboration with partners on business problems/issues and provide fact-based analytical advice that aligns with strategy and drives shareholder value Formulate relevant and significant data analysis through comprehensive data engineering and profiling tools Lead on the interpretation of complex business issues, generate multifaceted insights and find opportunities to help effective risk management in the business Build insights solutions end to end (from initial demand to results/recommendation presentation) ranging in complexity. Desired Skill Set: 5 years of strong background in Business Intelligence 5 years of expertise in Financial Reporting 5 years of working knowledge of SQL 2 years of experience with Python and Databricks Experience with Tableau Nice To Have: 3 years of experience in JIRA and Confluence 3 years of strong experience working with Microsoft Azure Cloud BeachHead is an equal opportunity agency and employer.
