Licensed Optician/ Student Optician

Overview We are seeking a skilled Optician or student optician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for eye care and providing exceptional service to our clients. Responsibilities - Pre testing and occasional edging - Welcome and help patients choose right frames and lenses for a tailored fit and take accurate measurements for eyeglasses - Educate patients on lens options, coatings, and care instructions - Adjust and repair eyewear as needed - Process orders for eyewear and contact lenses - Maintain inventory of frames and supplies - Keep the optical area clean and organized Benefits Working hours are Mon-Fri 9:00 -5:30, no evenings, no weekends Health spending account 2 weeks paid vacation and 5 sick days 2 pair of glasses a year free for yourself and at cost to immediate family members Tuition assistance available for student opticians Provincial Opticianry licensing fees and Liability insurance paid by the company Moving bonus available for the right candidate Wages based on skills and experience Fort St John is a great town and was voted the best place to work and raise a family in BC.
