Job Description
We are currently recruiting for an IT/EPOS Installation Engineer to join a well established team in the Essex area.
The successful engineer will be working as part of a team surveying, installing & maintaining a number of IT, EPOS and weigh scales equipment
The opportunity will involve working Days and Nights (may include Weekends) on site for a well-known retailer.

You will be paid a minimum salary of £27300, rising to £28113 after probation and then overtime on top

The roles involve travelling to customer sites and out-of-hours working with a standard 45 hour week
Travel and occasional overnight stays will be required as part of the role
Required skill set
Experienced field engineers with experience of ATM / Epos / IT Field Service Engineering work (2 - 3 years minimum experience)
Engineers must have basic fault-finding and strong communication skills
Windows Word/Excel proficiency, structured cabling skills, ability to install containment whilst working at height, CSCS, IPAF & general IT skills
Be comfortable in competing script-based activity
Must have a full UK Driving license and own reliable vehicle with business insurance and MOT
Must have standard engineering toolkit, PPE hard hat / boots etc
Engineer must be able to pass BS7858 vetting check
