Job Summary:
Join our clients team as a Forklift Operator and play a crucial role in their agriculture operations. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for efficiently and safely operating a forklift to move materials around site.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a forklift to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while operating the forklift
- Assist in organizing and maintaining inventory in the warehouse
- Collaborate with team members to fulfill orders and meet deadlines
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory movement
- Conduct basic equipment repairs as needed
- Support shipping and receiving processes as required
Skills:
- Proficient in basic math skills for inventory tracking
- Experience operating a forklift in a warehouse setting
- Knowledge of materials handling techniques
- Ability to handle heavy lifting when necessary
- Familiarity with loading and unloading procedures
- Understanding of warehouse operations and procedures
- Mechanical knowledge for equipment operation
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems
- Capability to perform equipment repairs when needed
- Experience in shipping and receiving processes
Requirements:
- Valid forklift operator certification/license
- Prior experience as a Forklift Operator preferred
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment
