Account Development Executive

Pertemps are currently recruiting for an Experienced Account Development Executive on behalf of our client based in Telford, Shropshire.

The successful candidate will be developing new business within the company and will have excellent customer interaction skills as there will be an element of visiting clients on a face-to-face basis.

Duties Include but not limited to:
To work towards agreed targets to achieve company growth plans.
To provide peace of mind to the sales manager that all business transacted falls in line with the companys standards and requirements
Adhering to compliance and upholding rules and regulations.
Pro-actively source new business opportunities
To grow and maintain a portfolio of business in line with your individual account targets.
To fully understand the clients insurance needs by undertaking a zero-based review at new business and subsequent renewals.
To fully and appropriately market both New Business and Renewal risks
To invite renewal terms in the appropriate medium and timescales as set out by the FCA.
Identify risk management measures to mitigate clients exposure.
Build relationships with industries professionals relevant to our clients trade.

Ideal Candidate:
Educated to a minimum of GCSE grade C in Maths & English.
At least 2+ years experience in a similar role is essential.
Proficient with Microsoft packages.
UK Driving licence and access to your own transport.
Excellent customer interaction skills, over the phone and face to face.
An excellent eye for detail and the ability and confidence to question risk details with clients in a professional manner.
Proven history of similar insurance experience to that of this roles requirements & experience of providing specialised sales advice to support customer requirements.
Ability to identify and match our products with customer demands and needs.
Thorough understanding of quotation platforms & telephone systems
To analyse our panel of insurers and research the clients demands & needs to establish policy suitability and eligibility.
Full understanding of insurer schemes and delegated rates.
Full understanding of options available to those clients who are unable to pay the balance in full.
Ability to work under own initiative.

Hours: Mon-Fri 8:45am 17:15pm with a bit of flexibility to meet client needs | 37.5 Hours per week.

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 dependant on experience + uncapped sales bonus.
