We are looking for a Warehouse Team Leader to be based at our multi-user site in Sherburn-in-Elmet, where youll be given the opportunity lead your own team from the front and really make a difference. You will be responsible for ensuring all colleagues within the team are trained in their respective tasks, adhering to Health & Safety rules and procedures whilst meeting or exceeding operational requirements within the contract.

We are currently recruiting for multiple positions, working with some of the world's most renowned customers, including Asda, Sports Shoes, and TJX. We offer both full-time, permanent roles as well as 6-month Fixed-Term Contracts (FTC). We have various shift patterns available including Monday to Friday, 08:00 17:30, and 4 on 4 off, 06:00 18:00 /, and 06-00 -14:00 / 14:00-22:00 any 5 days from 7. This will be discussed during the interview stage.

Were looking to offer a salary of up to £29,000 per annum. In addition, we offer up to 33 days of annual leave (depending on the shift pattern) as well as the option to buy additional days. What youll do on a typical day:

• Team management; developing, leading and motivating your people to achieve challenging operational KPIs
• Youll lead the team on health & safety, showing good working practices, as youll be responsible for keeping all our operational processes fully compliant whilst keeping your people safe
• Youll actively manage your available resource, and utilise staff where possible
• Maintain a constant presence within the warehouse delivering shift briefs and preparing handovers

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• Experience in leading a team within a fast-paced operation of FMCG, automation and multi-channel
• Experience of working to agreed targets and managing a small team
• Well-versed in warehouse management systems
• Good working knowledge of current health & safety and compliance legislation
