Job Description
Are you looking for a temporary position for the next 3-6 months? This role could be suitable for you.
Contek Recruitment are currently working with a specialist manufacturing client, located in West Bromwich, who are looking for a temporary Stores Operative to join the team for a 3-6 month period.
You will need to demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively with a range of departments to ensure that daily goals are achieved.
The ideal candidate will have the following experience listed below:
* Mechanical parts ordering and stock control.
* Goods inwards and outwards.
* Supplier contact.
* Computerised stock system – Data entry, etc.
* Other general stores duties.
Qualifications/Training:
* Basic Mechanical Engineering training.
* FLT licence – preferred, but not essential
* Ideally you will need to have previous experience of working within an engineering stores role.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday (8 AM until 4:30 PM) (40 hours per week) (Working times are negotiable)
Pay: Between £13-15 per hour, dependent on experience.
NOTE: Although this is a temporary position for up to 6 months, there could be potential for this role to become permanent, dependent on requirements at the time.
