With access to fresh, locally sourced ingredients and meats from an onsite butchery, you'll have everything you need to craft exciting, seasonal menus that showcase the best produce Norfolk has to offer.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead & Inspire: Motivate and manage a dedicated kitchen team in a positive, dynamic environment.
Menu Creation: Develop seasonal, innovative menus using fresh, local ingredients with a focus on flavour and presentation.
Cost Management: Oversee food costing and budgeting to ensure profitability without compromising on quality.
Quality Control: Ensure every dish meets high standards of presentation, taste, and consistency.
Local Sourcing: Collaborate with the onsite butchery and local suppliers for a sustainable, farm-to-table approach.
Food Safety: Maintain strict food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
About You:
Experienced: Prior experience as a Head Chef is essential.
Creative & Passionate: You love experimenting with new dishes and working with seasonal, high-quality ingredients.
Team-Oriented: You thrive in a collaborative environment, leading, mentoring, and developing your team.
Business-Savvy: Strong understanding of food cost management, portion control, and maximising profitability.
Detail-Oriented: Committed to maintaining food safety, hygiene, and delivering consistent results.
