TeacherActive is thrilled to be working with a lovely private day nursery located in the heart of Harrogate (HG1). The nursery go above and beyond to ensure that all of the children in their care are given the best start in life, and are supported through each stage of their development. They tailor each room to the different stages of development, ensuring that the children are allowed to develop and learn at their own pace.
The Nursery are currently searching for a Nursery Practitioner to join their growing team. The ideal applicant will have previous experience working within an Early Years setting, and will have a good understanding of how children learn throughout the ages of 0 – 5. The successful Nursery Practitioner will also hold a minimum Level 2 Qualification in Childcare and Education or above, and ideally hold a Paediatric First Aid Qualification.
The successful Nursery Practitioner will:
Be able to provide 2 professional references, one of which is from an Early Years or Education setting
Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Qualification in Childcare & Education or above
Be passionate about working with young children and helping them learn and develop new skills
