Tech Support Specialist £30,000 Wrexham

ShortList Recruitment is recruiting for a Tech Support Specialist to join a market leading business in Wrexham. The Tech Support Specialist is responsible for managing support requests and resolving user incidents and customer queries.

You will be able to identify the core root of issues and use product knowledge to resolve user incidents and customer queries. This will require you to be a confident and friendly communicator, whilst being able to manage workloads and demands in a time efficient manner.

Skills:

  • Positive approach to learning
  • Proficient user of the Microsoft packages
  • Diploma or bachelor's degree in Computing, Computer Science, IT or similar
  • Experience working in a similar IT or Support role
  • Knowledge of the ITIL service desk management lifecycle
  • Experience with helpdesk software eg. Jira, Zendesk, Freshservice and CRM software, such as Salesforce Sales cloud

Responsibilities:
  • Efficiently manage all internal technical support requests
  • Ensure that customers are well-informed through support queries
  • Use internal support knowledge to minimise the number of queries
  • Feedback the most common technical queries and errors to an internal support team
  • Prioritise requests based on urgency and customer and company requirements
  • Ensure SLAs for ticket response and resolution times are met
  • Provide regular reporting and analysis summaries
  • Document and classify all tickets correctly
  • Handle and process any personal data in a lawful and confidential manner

The Tech Support Specialist will be quality focused with excellent attention to detail, self-motivated and able to prioritise to strict deadlines. The Tech Support Specialist role has a salary of up to £30,000 (dependent on experience) and comes with a range of fantastic benefits including matched pension at 5%, health and life insurance, free lunch and 33 days annual leave (including bank holidays) rising with length of service. This is a hybrid role, based in Wrexham and is commutable from Chester, North Wales, Wirral and Cheshire.
