Job Description
Job Title: Senior Engineer
Location: Buckinghamshire
We are working with a growing contractor specialising in groundworks, civil and structural engineering works currently seeking a permanent Senior Engineer to grow their HS2 team.
Summary of Key Responsibilities and Requirements:
Responsibilities:
Assist the Project Manager with drafting and reviewing RAMS/TBS, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Support the achievement of safety targets and implement site systems for health, safety, and quality.
Review short-term programmes and assist with resolving on-site issues.
Familiarise with design drawings, raise TQs/RFIs, and manage Material Approval Records.
Write and review Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and maintain quality assurance (QA) records.Requirements:
Experience/Knowledge:
Prior experience working as a Senior Engineer, preferably with reinforced concrete and rail or HS2 projects.
Strong understanding of CDM Regulations and temporary works
Experience in BIM software and design tools like AutoCAD is desirable.
Skills:
Strong communication and team management abilities.
Confidence in addressing health, safety, and quality matters.
Qualifications:
Degree/HNC in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
Valid CSCS card (White Academic minimum) and a full UK driving license.Applicants must have the right to live and work in the UK.
