As a Solicitor (1+ PQE) at Burges Salmon, gaining exposure to high-profile clients and partners is just the start. With us, you'll reap the rewards of enjoying responsibility from day one. So, if you're looking to work at a fresh-thinking firm that's blazing a trail with industry-leading insight, it's time to take the leap.

The Team

Our contentious agricultural lawyers are a specialist group within our wider Dispute Resolution department.

They are contentious lawyers who form a key part of the firm's multidisciplinary Estates and Land specialism, which advises landowners, farmers and others within the sector. They work closely with our private client and real estate teams as well as with lawyers in allied areas such as planning, environment and energy.

We provide both contentious and specialist non-contentious advice to a range of clients in this sector, including some of the country's most high-profile landowners. That includes all elements of agricultural tenancy law, real property issues affecting rural land, advice on partnerships and contentious trust and probate issues. Our recent reported cases include Earl of Plymouth v Rees and Brudenell-Bruce v Savernake.

We have a national practice across England and Wales, dealing regularly with all of the major rural land agents and other multipliers.

What others say…

For a national firm, the team at Burges Salmon provide the service that you are their only client, they know each case inside and out and always have the time to answer your question.
