Director of Change and Transformation

Davies is currently seeking a Director in the Change & Transformation capability to join its team on a permanent basis within our Banking and Markets Team in London.

The opportunity:

We are seeking a Director to co-lead our Change & Transformation capability within the Banking & Markets EMEA Consulting practice. This role represents a unique opportunity to drive growth and penetrate new areas in existing markets and new markets within Investment Banking, Insurance, Asset & Wealth Management, Retail Banking clients.

You will:

• Design and deliver client-led change initiatives, ensuring alignment with their strategic goals
• Support the shaping and execution of the Change & Transformation strategy, identifying opportunities for growth, product development, service improvement and innovation
• Drive business development opportunities, leading proposal development and pitching consulting services to new and existing clients
• Leverage personal industry network within Financial Services to identify new logos and capitalise on new opportunities.
• Represent the consultancy at industry events and conferences, contributing to white papers and developing other IP.
• Line-manage and mentor a small team of consultants, supporting career development plans and ensuring the team delivers high-quality services that meet client needs
• Meet or exceed financial performance targets set by Practice leads.

Your experience:

• 15+ years’ experience in management consulting, or in senior line roles at a major financial market’s institution, with a focus on change management, organisational transformation, and strategy execution
• Experience in leading the design and execution of large, complex transformation projects in Consulting or within a Financial Services firm.
• Experience with digital transformation initiatives, including the integration of new tech such as AI, cloud computing, and automation.
• Demonstrated ability to build and commercialise senior-level relationships
• Proven track record of managing and leading high performing teams
• Proven track record of consulting related sales origination
• Strong professional network within Financial Services, especially within the Banking sector.
