Salary: up to £36,890 pa (pro-rated for maternity cover), dependent on experience and skills

The Role:

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced customer service / customer support representative with a strong track record of managing customer expectations to join a thriving business during an exciting period of growth. You will initially join our team as maternity cover with the potential for the role to become permanent.


Reporting to the HOC (Head of Credit), the successful candidate will be responsible for providing the ‘wrap-around’ care required for all prospective applicants, handling general customer enquiries / application queries. The candidate will also be responsible for assisting all departments with application related queries.


This role does not offer a visa sponsorship and the candidate is required to hold a right to work.


Responsibilities

  • Troubleshooting application / account queries from prospective applicants.
  • Daily processing of incoming enquiries. Working to departmental SLA’s.
  • Undertake daily outbound / inbound call activity where required.
  • Ensuring compliance with the firm’s lending policies and procedure.

  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Skill in focusing on desired results, prioritisation, clarifying next steps, and delegating effectively to meet deadlines, and achieve desired results.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships at all levels, both internally and externally.
  • Organisational skills and the ability to understand detailed information.
  • Numeracy skills, with strong IT skills.
  • A proven track record of 'making a difference'.
  • A sound working knowledge of relevant regulation (FCA and ICO) with the ability to apply principles to all daily activity.

Working Hours:


35 hours a week (generally between Mon – Friday, 9:00am -5:00pm). Flexibility is required.
