Commercial Surveyor - Retail and Leisure

You’ll be joining a well-known, highly respected commercial division in Cambridge, where knowledge is shared, and collaboration is key in our vibrant, fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do:

• Manage a diverse portfolio of agency instructions, primarily in the retail and leisure sectors.
• Advise clients on terms for purchases, lettings, and sales to ensure optimal site appraisals.
• Prepare sales and marketing particulars and select successful purchasers/tenants.
• Collaborate with teams across Bidwells to advise on development opportunities, maximizing returns for clients.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, fostering repeat business.
• Promote Bidwells' services and win new agency instructions.
• Develop deep expertise in the retail and leisure market across our regions.
• Liaise with colleagues across different departments to share insights and uncover broader project opportunities.
• Lead and support commercial development schemes and projects, working closely with our London Investment team.
• Work with Lease Consultancy and Valuation teams on valuations, rent reviews, and lease renewals.

What We're Looking For:

• A proven track record in agency transactions, particularly within the retail and leisure sectors.
• Confidence in managing client relationships and delivering results.
• A commercially focused, analytical mindset with strong decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Prior experience in retail, leisure, commercial agency, or investment (RICS accreditation is a plus, but not essential).
