I am currently recruiting for an experienced Merchandising Assistant to join a well-known brand based within the West Midlands.

You will be responsible for supporting the Merchandisers with their own product area including range planning, WSSI and managing Supplier relationships. As Merchandising Assistant you will enjoy working in a busy fast paced retail head office environment; some of your duties will include;

• Assisting in managing WSSI by accurately forecasting demand, OTB, returns, and margin.
• Supporting more senior members of the team with ad-hoc projects
• Reviewing Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Sales performance
• Monitoring market & competitor activity
• Knowledge of the high street market

Key requirements for this role:

• Previous experience in retail Merchandising is essential.
• Good level of education is required.
• Highly accurate with a good attention to detail
• Ability to manage a varied workload
• High commercial awareness
• Strong numerical skills with the ability to analyse data.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise / influence effectively at all levels.
• Good working knowledge of MS Office products specifically Excel
