Marketing Manager

Marketing Manager - Grasmere / £35k-£40k / On-site

Currently with a food retailer who are looking to grow their team. They are looking for a marketing and sales manager to lead their team and drive business growth.

*Must be commutable to the Grasmere area*

Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the Marketing and Sales Team: Strategically guide and support the team to maximise market recognition and sales.
• Protect and promote the brand: Ensure consistent brand application across all business areas, including collaborations and awards.
• Oversee marketing and PR activities: Plan and execute marketing, advertising, and PR initiatives to increase brand awareness.
• Drive sales and support the team: Actively support the Sales Team in achieving sales targets and maximising market recognition.
• Build relationships in the food and tourism sectors: Network and collaborate with relevant organisations to create innovative marketing opportunities.
• Manage website and ecommerce: Oversee website content, SEO, and explore ecommerce and CRM development.
• Expand the events program: Support the Sales Ambassador in pursuing new and exciting events to build brand awareness.
• Provide departmental leadership: Direct, manage, analyse, and report on the Marketing and Sales team's activities.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in FMCG marketing, preferably in the food industry.
• Marketing qualification and a proven track record of success.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams.
• Strong analytical, organisational, and creative skills.
• Expertise in social media and its role in marketing.
• Understanding of events and their impact on business.
• Experience in B2C sales and ecommerce.
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
• Proficient in IT skills and software.
• Attention to detail and a creative mindset.
