Job description

Hearing Aid Dispenser (inc Wax removal and Tinnitus services)

Location: Essex Area

Hours: 40 per week over 5 days (optional Saturdays with a day off in lieu)

Starting salary: £40kpa Plus car allowance or company card & UNCAPPED EARNINGS COMISSION

Regain Hearing is an independent, family run, private hearing healthcare business with luxurious state of the art practices across Kent and SE London. In addition we provide domiciliary hearing services to our patients who are elderly or housebound. Every day we help patients across Kent and SE London with all their hearing health care needs, from relief from their tinnitus, ear wax removal, hearing tests, fitting/ servicing of hearing aids and organising custom ear protection and much more...

Job role



The employee is engaged to perform the duties of Audiologist. In summary, the duties will include but are not exclusive to:

Hearing consultations and assessments

Hearing aid sales - to convert ideally a minimum of 50% hearing tests to sales at a price in line with Regain Hearing's retail price list.

Hearing aid fittings

Hearing aid cleaning and repairs

Hearing aid programming

Sale of hearing accessories

Effective use of Blueprint CRM patient and stock management systems

Effective use of the Google business package: Google Drive, e-mail, etc.

To deliver a high standard of patient care and hospitality to all visitors of Regain Hearing

To maintain a clinical standard working environment

To encourage patient written or video testimonials at any appropriate opportunity for the purposes of Social media, website and google PR.

To ensure the consulting room is set up in accordance with the standards of Regain Hearing prior to the patient’s appointment.

To utilise every opportunity for repeat business: e.g. recommending our services, ensuring every patient has a future check up appointment booked before leaving the practice, informing patients of our referral scheme etc.

To endeavour to act with the best interests of Regain Hearing at all times, e.g. putting forward ideas to improve the patient experience and operations within the practice.

To conduct all aspects of the hearing assessments as per Regain Hearing's protocols as set out in the training sessions, unless being unable to do so such as due to a technical error.

To treat Employees and patients respectfully.

To attend staff training sessions and meetings.

To take personal responsibility to ensure your annual CPD points required to maintain your HCPC licence are up to date each year.

To attend training sessions internally and externally as required to maintain a high professional standard of performance

To actively organise and / or participate in local outreach events, demonstrations and talks for the purpose of gaining more business enquiries / bookings

Ordering the necessary stock to perform your role.

To complete and submit holiday request forms for approval

To complete and submit your expenses on a monthly basis.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From £40,000.00 per year
