Business Development Manager – Essex/remote - Up to £70,000

Our client, who are an Independent freight forwarder are looking for a Freight Business Development Manager to join their team who are based in Essex, UK

As Business Development Manager, you will be tasked in focusing on winning new business with a focus on Ocean Freight.

Salary: Up to £70,000

Requirements:

• Previous experience of working in a sales role within a freight forwarding/logistics organisation is essential with a proven track record of success in Sea freight sales
• Good understanding of transport and Worldwide logistics
• Strong resilience and positivity particularly in challenging situations
• Outstanding customer service skills
• Strong negotiation skills
• The ability to develop and build strong and personable relationships over the phone and in person with a broad range of individuals
