Gross Pay rate (PAYE): £20.99 per hour + holiday pay (£23.52 per hour inclusive of holiday pay)

Location: Home-based (can be based anywhere in the UK)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week, 0900 – 1700

Job Purpose:

Our client, a global membership organisation is looking for the Sector and Communities Manager, who will play a key role in driving engagement and building strong, advocacy-driven communities within the Public and Health sectors. Responsibilities include researching sector trends, curating relevant content, and managing sector-specific webpages on our client's website to deliver valuable resources to members. The manager will also gather insights from meetings for quarterly reports, engage members via social media and email, and support the transition from networks to communities. Additionally, they will host committee meetings, nurture digital-first communities through webinars and discussions, and identify opportunities to enhance member value through market insights and feedback.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

- Proven experience in building and sustaining communities and relationships.

- Strong website management skills and experience.

- Experience delivering digital events and meetings.

- Proficiency in MS Teams, social media platforms, and conferencing tools.

- Experience working with volunteers to foster community growth.

- Knowledge of the accounting and finance sector and current trends.

- Strong interest in skills and career development within the industry.

- Proactive, innovative problem-solver, informed by member insights.

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
