Job Summary: Senior Construction Manager (Construction)
Location: Severn Trent region, Midlands (Hybrid working available)
Role Overview:
This role involves managing Health, Safety, Environmental, and Sustainability compliance for construction projects, leading site teams across Waste and Clean Water sites. You’ll ensure projects are delivered within budget and timeframes, using a combination of in-house teams and sub-contractors. Reporting directly to the Head of Operations, key responsibilities include:
Leading site teams to deliver projects within budget and timelines
Ensuring compliance with safety, time, and quality standards
Conducting Constructability Reviews, Project Rehearsals, and Fit for Assembly sign-offs
Focusing on reducing waste and embodied carbon
Managing resource needs (labor, plant, materials)
Promoting a safety-first culture
Implementing innovative techniques to maintain industry leadership
Candidate Requirements:
Experience in large-scale construction programs and water/wastewater industries
Project management experience with a degree in a construction-related discipline
Knowledge of CDM, Health & Safety, and Temporary Works
Strong leadership, communication, and strategic management skills
