JOB TITLE: Higher Level Teaching Assistant
LOCATION: Chelmsford
START DATE: Immediate Start
SALARY: £70 - £100 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a great mainstream secondary school based in the Chelmsford area. The school provides a higher level of education, with a “good” OFSTED rating. The largely populated school boasts new and refurbished facilities, providing the teachers and students the perfect setting to learn.
The school is looking for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant / HLTA to join their team of friendly, experienced staff members on a long term basis, leading to a permanent position for the right HLTA. The successful applicant will be working across a range of settings within the school, from SEND to taking lead within classrooms. This role will be paramount in assisting students in furthering their knowledge and achieving great results.
The successful Higher Level Teaching Assistant / HLTA will have:
A nationally recognised qualification in literacy and numeracy at level two or higher
knowledge and experience of inclusive education, behaviour management and special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)
Excellent classroom management
