Job Description

Whether you have graduated this summer or have built experience up in another field, this Graduate Cover Supervisor opportunity would allow you to build up valuable teaching skills whilst allowing you to access if teacher training is right next career step for you!
As a Graduate Cover Supervisor you would be covering and supervising Key Stage 3 & 4 lessons, mainly focusing on your subject specialism but also supporting other departments to assure students academic progress runs smoothly.
Prior tutoring /education experience is desirable, but strong communication and behaviour management skills are key to ensuring you are a success in this Graduate Cover Supervisor role.
Graduate Cover Supervisor – what makes you suited to this role:
Ability to supervise and cover a secondary class
Implementation of strong behaviour management
Clear and concise communication
Prior education / classroom / tutoring experience
Professional approach to helping students learn and remain engaged
Flexible in covering an array of subjects
A full enhanced DBS will be required, which can be processed through Smile Education.
