Senior Solution Architect - WMS & Logistics

Nexus Supply Chain Talent have partnered with a leading retailer who are recruiting for a Senior Solution Architect to join their team.
As a Senior Architect you will play a crucial role in planning and defining the technical roadmap for WMS and Logistics. Working closely with multiple engineering teams, you will shape and design new products and services that align with the overall architecture. Your focus will be on creating cloud-native designs for complex projects, iterating existing components, and designing new components from scratch. Collaborating with Senior Engineering Managers, you will develop and communicate the technical architecture, roadmap, and strategy for your areas of responsibility.
Along with the above, you will also be :

• Reviewing the Logistics estate, map out the functionality/capability of systems and identify any duplication and decommissioning opportunities.
• Deep dive into Food capabilities, understand what is taking place in all systems within Supply Chain and Logistics and where those functions/capabilities may sit in a future estate.
• Understand what systems sit within Logistics operations that are not currently supported. Understand what capabilities/functionality these systems provide and where this functionality may sit in the future
• Experience with JDA WMS, Manhattan or Krber WMS systems is essential
• Lockdown legacy WMS direct access
