Teaching Assistant - Primary Pupil Referral Unit - Northampton, Northamptonshire - Immediate Start - £90-100 per day depending on experience

Tradewind Recruitment are currently working with a primary alternative provision in Northampton who are looking to appoint a teaching assistant to support students aged 4-11 in a classroom setting!

***Part of a multi-academy trust

This primary alternative provision provides young people with alternative and special education in order for them to progress and succeed in sustained education or employment through high quality teaching and learning based on effective relationships that enable the achievement of life skills and meaningful qualifications.
This school believes all children and young people have the capacity to learn regardless of their life situation and it's their role to unlock that learning potential. This AP apply their methodology to open the door to learning and to re-engage excluded or marginalised young people, whose attainment has fallen behind their peers in mainstream education.
About you - PRU Teaching Assistant - Northampton, Northamptonshire
Experience in UK primary/secondary/SEN/PRU schools
SEN experience is desirable but not essential
Good behaviour management and ability to tackle challenging behaviour
Available full time
The ability to adapt to the student's needs - every student comes from different backgrounds and have different needs so being transparent is essential!
Good levels of communication and ability to speak with students, parents, staff, and external agencies.
