Trainee Commercial Estimator

Job Description
Madisons Recruitment are recruiting for a Trainee Commercial Estimator on a permanent basis located in High Wycombe.
The annual salary for the role is £25,000 per annum with a very brief responsibilities and requirements for the role below, should you have further queries please reply to schedule a call back with myself regarding the role.
You will need to provide accurate and efficient administrative support to the Commercial estimating team by reading drawings and provide a cost-effective solutions in a timely manner to finalise orders from clients whilst making a profitable margin.
Responsibilities
Assist the Commercial estimating team in pricing the relevant quotes whilst meeting the customer/client’s requirements.
Check all invitation document(s) thoroughly including all aspects of the order.
Highlight anything in the specification that requires specific action or any additional information required by the architect in order to continue.
Schedule out all items to be priced.
Determine which system would be most suited to use for pricing the project.
Send out supplier enquiries and chase up their quotations.
Make notes throughout all of the above processes for inclusion within the quotation return letter.
Upon successful return of the tender, diarise the critical dates to chase the client for a decision to determine whether we were successful and if not, to determine the reasons and shortfall.
Input, review and report effectively and thoroughly on the Company’s management systems.
Carry out any other duties that may be deemed necessary for the completion.
