The Practice:

This is a first opinion veterinary practice based near Leicester with a real passion for excellence. Amongst the team we boast of Certificate Holders in doctrines like Orthopaedics and ECC and work closely with a nearby hospital for anything they would be more suitable for.

On our own site, we have all the usual (and some more niche) modern equipment to aid your diagnosis and treatments. Our state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment includes dental X-Rays, high-quality ultrasound and a fantastic in-house laboratory. We've spacious wards and plenty of room for our staff to relax away from the clinical areas. We offer a variety of first opinion work and have great set of loyal clients.

The Role:

As the Lead Vet at our site, you will be the ‘go-to’ Surgeon for clinical development amongst our associates and be a key player in the growth of the practice. You will oversee a team of Surgeons and RVNs on their own best-practice and work closely with the practice manager to ensure smooth turnover of patients.

As an optional focus, we are happy to have our lead have a consulting bias. You should still be happy to offer some surgical assistance in light of staff sicknesses or cover but would love to hear more about your personal interests. We are proud to be in a strong position to allow the Lead to tackle their preferred cases. Those with a strong surgical increase can still work on soft tissues, lump removals etc.
