Contracts Manager

Job Description
A respected regionally based Chartered building contractor with a rich pedigree of delivering hi-end large new build, renovation and refurbishment projects are now seeking a full time Contracts Manager to take ownership of several key projects around the Dorset region with values from £100,000 to over £5 million.
Duties;
* Place subcontract orders.
* Manage our supply chain.
* Place material orders.
* Attend weekly internal coordination meetings.
* Prepare and issue monthly contractor reports.
* Manage and review construction programme.
* Collate RFIs and CSIs.
* Maintain health and safety standards.
* Review and obtain Temporary Works designs.
* Provide input to the weekly labour meeting.
* Manage drawing revisions.
You;
* Have significant experience with the ability to demonstrate personal responsibility and success.
* A background in project management with experience of JCT contracts would be a distinct advantage
* Have excellent planning and organisational skills
* Have extensive experience in dealing with client professionals and subcontractors.
* Be dynamic, innovative, and able to work on one’s own initiative
* Demonstrate excellent motivational and communication skills.
* Be a true team player who is not afraid to get involved
* Hold a relevant degree, HND or professional qualification.
