Financial Controller - 12 month FTC

High growth, multi-site services business in Runcorn. It operates in a niche marketplace and has flourished over the previous 5 years to become a sector dominant company.

Your new role
This is a 12-month FTC Financial Controller job reporting to the Finance Director. You'll lead a finance team with 4 direct reports, overseeing all financial operations and reporting. Responsibilities include:

• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Consolidation of multiple legal entities.
• Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
• Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and treasury functions.
• Implement and maintain robust financial controls and procedures.
• Coordinate with external auditors and manage the audit process.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.

What you'll need to succeed
ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified accountant who can demonstrate significant technical accounting (IFRS/UK GAAP)and team leadership expertise.

What you'll get in return
