Job Description
We are seeking an ambitious, enthusiastic, and imaginative Head of Business and Computing to lead a dynamic department at an outstanding secondary school in King's Lynn. This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed individual to make a real difference in shaping the future of our students.
Role & Responsibilities:
* Lead and deliver an innovative Business Studies and Computing curriculum.
* Lead and deliver an innovative Computer Science lessons to GCSE students.
* Teach Business Studies to KS4 and potentially to A-level students.
* Collaborate with department colleagues to enhance student learning and performance.
* Contribute to the wider school community, including involvement in annual school productions.
* Ensure student safety and manage classroom behaviour effectively.
* Utilize data to promote student achievement and attainment.
Requirements:
* Experience teaching Business Studies at GCSE and A-Level.
* Proven ability to work effectively within a team.
* Leadership experience or willingness to lead.
* Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
* IT literate with a commitment to personal development.
* Understanding of equal opportunities and the ECM (Every Child Matters) agenda.
* Passion for ensuring that all students have the opportunity to succeed.
