Higher Level Teaching Assistant
The School and Role
Vision for Education are working closely with a specialist provision in Newcastle upon Tyne who are seeing a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join their team to work on a part time, long term basis from October 2024. You will be required to work Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday; 8.30-3.30. As a HLTA you will be responsible for delivering lessons and working closely with students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
The desired Higher Level Teaching Assistant will have:
Good behaviour management skills
Experience in SEND
Experience if working in small groups and delivering work
