Power BI Developer / Analyst - UK Wide - Fully Remote - £50,000 - £65000
Source & Connect are searching for 2 x Power BI Developer / Analysts to support our client in the development of business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI. The reporting environment is mature, aligned with the Microsoft application stack, and utilises the Agile Scrum Development methodology.
You must be a British citizen to apply for this role due to security clearance needed
Key Responsibilities:
Business Intelligence (BI) Specific Responsibilities:
- Develop the BI solution architecture, replication warehouse, and secure data sets using Microsoft technologies.
- Design and manage secure data sets for various systems, enabling key users to produce reports.
- Test and modify new data sets and reports to ensure their reliability and avoid disruption to operations.
- Address data integrity and quality issues within legacy systems to improve reporting accuracy.
- Create and update BI process maps to support system architecture and configuration.
Responsibilities:
- Drive excellence through effective and efficient use of systems.
- Understand and document business requirements for short, medium, and long-term solutions.
- Collaborate with end users, key users, and process owners to ensure functionality aligns with evolving business needs.
- Develop and maintain consistent solutions across the approved application suite.
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure the secure handling of sensitive data.
- Build and maintain workflows and automate processes.
- Support other Business Systems Analysts in digital transformation projects.
Essential:
- 2-3 years of experience as a business intelligence analyst/developer or in a related role.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Power BI, including dataset creation and visualization.
- Familiarity with related technologies such as SSRS, Power Query, Power Apps, SharePoint, and Nintex.
- Relevant degree or qualification in business analytics or a related field.
- Strong technical skills with the ability to analyze and solve complex problems.
- Knowledge of GDPR and data management best practices.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at various levels.
- A pragmatic approach to balancing ideal solutions with immediate needs.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, rapidly changing global business environment.
- Experience with Agile Scrum development methodology.

- Knowledge of Dynamics Navision, iTrent, and SharePoint Online Office 365.
- ETL experience using SSIS, Azure Data Factory (ADF), or similar tools.
