Senior Quantity Surveyor – Join a Leading Regional Contractor
A well-regarded, family-owned regional contractor with a 40-year track record in new builds, design and build, refurbishment, and fit-out projects is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team.

Based in Hertfordshire and operating primarily in London and the Northern Home Counties, this established contractor handles contracts valued between £1 - £15 million across diverse sectors, including retail, residential, community, education, healthcare, commercial, and defence. Senior Quantity Surveyor Role Overview:
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will typically oversee two projects simultaneously, managing multiple tasks and ensuring projects stay within budget and scope. Senior Quantity Surveyor Responsibilities:
Assess site potential and client budget feasibility.
Conduct periodic valuations to process payments for completed work.

Monitor and control project costs to remain within budget.
Manage staff payments and finalise accounts upon project completion.
Mentor and develop junior team members.
Provide financial advice and progress reports to clients. Qualifications and Experience:
Proven experience in Senior Quantity Surveying, ideally within refurbishment and design and build projects.
Strong understanding of construction processes and contract management.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
Professional membership (e.g., MRICS) is preferred but not essential. Benefits:
