A top hospital in **Rochester, NY** is seeking a highly skilled **CVOR Tech** to join their surgical team for a **13-week travel contract**. This is your chance to work in a state-of-the-art facility, assisting in complex cardiac surgeries while exploring a vibrant and historic city.

**Position Details:**
- **Location:** Rochester, NY
- **Contract Length:** 13 weeks
- **Shift:** Days/Evenings (10-hour shifts), 4x10s with potential for on-call
- **Guaranteed Hours:** 40 hours/week
- **On-Call Requirement:** 1 weekend of call per month, 1 day of call per week, and 1 late shift per week

**Requirements:**
- **NBSTSA Certification REQUIRED** – Must be Certified!
- **Cardiac Surgery Experience Required** (Thoracic experience preferred)
- Must be **competent in CT surgery**
- **Broad experience in Neuro, Ortho, and other specialties** preferred
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure situations
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assist in complex cardiovascular, thoracic, and other surgeries
- Ensure sterile field and proper equipment setup for procedures
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nurses to provide the best patient outcomes
