Your new company
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Teaching Assistant to join a reputable school in Peterlee. For this job, the successful candidate will hold a Level 3 Teaching Qualification or equivalent and have experience in behaviour and SEN.
Your new role - Supporting 1:1 pupil with SEN and behaviour difficulties
- Carrying out administrative tasks such as photocopying, filing, and record-keeping
- Helping to manage pupil behaviour in the classroom
- Providing one-to-one support to pupils who require additional assistance
- Participating in extracurricular activities and school events
What you'll need to succeed
- Level 3 Teaching Qualification or equivalent- Experience in behaviour and SEN
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Positive attitude and a passion for education
What you'll get in return
- Full time
- Long-term assignment
- Monday - Friday
- £14.50 per hour including holiday pay
