Job Description
Alexander Steele are working in partnership with an ambient food manufacturer in Hull which are recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer. The ideal candidate is Multi Skilled and has experience working in a FMCG evironment.
Roles + Repsonibilities
*
Regularly inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical issues in production equipment such as mixers, conveyors, cutters, depositers and flow wrappers to prevent downtime and maintain efficiency.
*
Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all machinery to ensure equipment operates smoothly and to reduce the likelihood of unexpected breakdowns.
*
Ensure all equipment meets food safety and operational safety standards, including adherence to HACCP, GMP, and FDA regulations, while monitoring machines for potential safety hazards.
*
Analyse machine performance data and implement engineering improvements to optimize equipment efficiency, reduce waste, and increase production throughput.
*
Maintain an adequate inventory of critical spare parts, manage the ordering process, and ensure that parts are available to minimize downtime in case of equipment failure.
On offer
* Monday to Friday - Days - 8 hour shfits
* £42,000 - £48,000 DOE
* 25 days AL + Banks
