Residential Conveyancer Full Time or Part Time

Our client is seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Residential Conveyancer to join their successful conveyancing team based in Sutton Coldfield. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 12 months experience in residential conveyancing, with a strong focus on all aspects of residential sales and purchases.

Duties for the Residential Conveyancer will include but not be limited to the following:

Supporting the Conveyancing Solicitor with their caseload.

Facilitate the purchase and sale of freehold and leasehold properties, including but not limited to:

• Lease extensions
• Right to buys
• Unregistered titles
• Shared ownership schemes
• Equity release transactions
• Land acquisitions
• Splitting titles
• Preparation of leases for new builds

Communicate effectively with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other stakeholders to provide updates and resolve queries.

Prepare, review, and finalise legal documents, contracts, and reports associated with residential property transactions.

Conduct thorough due diligence and property searches, ensuring all relevant information is obtained and assessed.

Proactively manage timelines, deadlines, and expectations to ensure a smooth transaction process.

Provide expert advice and guidance to clients throughout the conveyancing process, ensuring they are fully informed of all aspects of their transaction.

Maintain accurate and detailed records of all transactions and correspondence in accordance with firm policies and procedures.

Stay up to date with changes in property law and best practices to provide the best possible service.

The ideal candidate for the Residential Conveyancer will have the following:

• A minimum of 12 months experience in residential conveyancing, with a proven track record in managing a diverse range of property transactions.
• Sound knowledge of property law, regulations, and procedures relevant to residential conveyancing.
• Experience handling leasehold and freehold purchases, lease extensions, right to buy, unregistered titles, shared ownership, and equity release.
• Strong legal drafting skills with the ability to prepare leases and other legal documents efficiently and accurately.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to convey complex information clearly to clients.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining high attention to detail.
• A proactive and client-focused approach, with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• A problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle challenging situations effectively.
