CLASS 2 DRIVER

MONDAY - FRIDAY:

£14.50 PER HOUR

People Solution are looking for a Class 2 Driver for our client based in Glasgow.

Day to Day Duties

• Drive Class 2 vehicles for delivery of goods
• Conduct pre and post-journey vehicle checks
• Ensure timely deliveries to customers and depots
• Load and unload goods as required
• Complete delivery paperwork accurately
• Operate vehicle in compliance with safety regulations
• Follow assigned routes and schedules
• Communicate effectively with logistics team regarding any issues

Essential Skills

• Valid UK Category C driving licence (held for a minimum of two years)
• Valid CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence)
• Valid digital tachograph card (Digi Card)
• Good understanding of driving safety and regulations
• Strong time management and communication skills
• Physically fit and able to handle goods if required

Desirable Experience

• Previous experience delivering large or bulky goods
• Familiarity with Glasgow and surrounding road networks
• Excellent customer service skills
• Experience using in-vehicle technology and navigation systems
• Flexibility to cover additional shifts as needed

Training

• Manual handling training provided
