Location: Tunbridge Wells

Care: Ward- surgical
Salary: £32,000 - £40,000 per annum ( Band 6 ) - negotiable depending on experience
Hours: Full time 37.5
Contract type: Permanent
About the role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and experienced Senior Nurse to join a fantastic Private Hospital in Tunbridge Wells. The hospital boasts excellent facilities including 2 operating theatres, a sterile services department, endoscopy suite and a fully equipped diagnostic and imaging department. The hospital offers outpatients and physiotherapy departments providing services six days a week. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior Nurse to join a friendly and experienced surgical ward team. The team are passionate about high quality care and put their patients at the heart of everything they do and are looking for a like-minded Senior Nurse to join them.

Duties and responsibilities
You will be working as a Senior Nurse on the surgical ward and will be responsible for;

Manage the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of planned care for patients
Display effective management of clinical teams in a safe and caring environment
Support the Ward Manager and Head of Clinical Services in the overall management of healthcare team
Lead others in the development of knowledge, ideas and work practices
Develop and improve services
Who we're looking for

Be NMC registered - your pin must not have any restrictions or conditions
Eligibility to live and work in the UK
Must be working in a band 5 position currently
Experience of working in the UK as a sister/ senior nurse in a surgical unit
Minimum of 5 years experience gained within an acute setting
Strong leadership and mentoring skills
