Maintenance Technician

CELSA Cardiff

£36,000 - £40,000 plus £3,532 car allowance

Joining our Scrap Purchasing team, youll be working on some of the largest pieces of kit and machinery youll find in the industry. You could be maintaining excavator scissors one day to fabricating and welding machine components the next. The role will make use of, and build upon all of your mechanical engineering knowledge and experience.


You will be travelling to our yards across the North including Sunderland and Rotherham to maintain machinery. Ideally, you have previously worked within heavy industry as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar role. It would be great if you have some experience in Electrical Maintenance but it is essential you have a strong background in Mechanical Maintenance.


You need a minimum of NVQ L3 in Engineering to be considered for the role.


We take scrap metal from across the UK, recycle it, and produce construction steels. Around one million tonnes of finished product every year. Weve won awards for our environmental sustainability and were proud to be the largest steel recycling business in the UK.
