Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex transformation projects, including digital transformation, process improvement, and change management initiatives within the legal sector.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders across legal, operations, IT, and finance to define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success metrics.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Manage cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project objectives and to drive successful project outcomes.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration across departments, ensuring transparency and accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
- Track project performance, providing regular updates to senior leadership and ensuring milestones are achieved within agreed-upon parameters.
- Identify potential risks and challenges, developing mitigation strategies to keep projects on course.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement, helping to embed new ways of working across the organization.
- Ensure post-implementation reviews are conducted, capturing lessons learned and embedding improvements into future projects.
Key Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, specifically within the legal industry or professional services.
- Demonstrated expertise in leading and delivering end-to-end transformation initiatives, including digital, operational, and process-driven change projects.
- Strong understanding of legal processes, regulations, and industry-specific challenges.
- Proven ability to manage multiple, complex projects simultaneously, with a track record of delivering results on time and within budget.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience working with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies, such as Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches.
- Strong communication, leadership, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is preferred but not required.
