As they continue to evolve, I am looking for a highly skilled Senior Project Manager with extensive experience in the legal industry to lead and deliver key transformation initiatives.

Role Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Project Manager with a proven track record in managing large-scale projects within the legal industry. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in driving transformation programs, including process optimization, digital transformation, AI, Tech or operational improvements. This is a critical role that requires both strategic oversight and hands-on project delivery, ensuring that initiatives are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex transformation projects, including digital transformation, process improvement, and change management initiatives within the legal sector.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders across legal, operations, IT, and finance to define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success metrics.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
  • Manage cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project objectives and to drive successful project outcomes.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration across departments, ensuring transparency and accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Track project performance, providing regular updates to senior leadership and ensuring milestones are achieved within agreed-upon parameters.
  • Identify potential risks and challenges, developing mitigation strategies to keep projects on course.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement, helping to embed new ways of working across the organization.
  • Ensure post-implementation reviews are conducted, capturing lessons learned and embedding improvements into future projects.

Key Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, specifically within the legal industry or professional services.
  • Demonstrated expertise in leading and delivering end-to-end transformation initiatives, including digital, operational, and process-driven change projects.
  • Strong understanding of legal processes, regulations, and industry-specific challenges.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple, complex projects simultaneously, with a track record of delivering results on time and within budget.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience working with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies, such as Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is preferred but not required.
