Are you ready for your next career challenge' The National Security Sector at Leidos has an opening for a Operations Integration Lead to support work in our Ridgecrest, CA office. This is an exciting opportunity to use your production, manufacturing, and leadership skills to support the Navy's Aircrew Electronic Warfare Tactical Training Ranges (AEWTTR) mission. In this mission we provide engineering support for design, modification, and maintenance of ground radar and associated devices for the Navy's aircrew Electronic Warfare (EW) training capability. Our organization designs, manufactures, integrates, and provides depot level support for a wide variety of EW threat simulation systems that are part of the training infrastructure that ensures our Navy aircrews are the most effective in the world. This position will be based in Ridgecrest, California requiring up to 25% travel. Estimated travel is between one and two weeks at a time up to 6 times a year to geographically disperse sites associated with the Aircrew Electronic Warfare Tactical Training Ranges (AEWTTR). These training ranges are located primarily located at Cherry Point, NC, Fallon, NV, Yuma, AZ and Pacific Beach, WA. Primary Responsibilities Conduct weekly Timecard review and approvals. Perform personnel management functions conducting regular interaction/communication with direct reporting personnel to review/discuss technical performance, upcoming technical goals, and address technical issues. Work directly with the Program Manager to provide input for the Operations Integration Leads direct reports for establishing annual Leidos goals, performance, and yearly evaluations supporting annual merit increases. Provide support to the contract Hiring Manager, Deputy Program Manager, and Program Manager to provide input for new position requirements, technical evaluations and Performance Improvement Programs. Develop written updates as necessary to support Program Management reporting to the Government and internally to Leidos. Participate in weekly/monthly Program Management status meetings; provide written updates to support Government and internal Leidos reporting. Lead all integration production control activities which includes development of schedules and status charts in accordance with the program and customer timelines. Advises management of the status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials and services are provided as needed. Interface directly with Government customers as the primary technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) on sub-systems and integrated systems. Plans, prepares, issues and controls integration schedules and coordinates with material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials timed to meet sub-system integration requirements. Conduct technical analysis for sub-system and system implementations, modifications, and potential enhancements. Create customized training plans based on current systems, new system upgrades, and mission-specific requirements. Provide modernization instruction on the operations and maintenance of supported systems, standard and non-standard systems and equipment. Monitor contract compliance of the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and government interpretation of regulations. Schedules equipment and personnel, confirms material supply and demands, prepares work orders or purchase requests for the production or purchase of components or parts based on a master production schedule, shop load and inventory requirements. Coordinates interdepartmental activity with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, traffic, etc. Investigates, analyzes, and identifies the root cause of problems. Travel to customer sites to perform system upgrades, modification and /or repairs as needed based on program needs. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's Degree with 5 or more years of related experience. Additional directly related experience can offset the degree requirements. Two or more years' experience with leading a team/s or projects. Experience creating, building, assembling, installing, integrating, testing, troubleshooting, modifying and repairing prototype and production electrical systems. Subject Matter Expert (SME) with assembling electrical connectors, cables, subassemblies, assemblies, subsystems and systems typically found in military platforms and equipment. Must have prior experience providing technical support in a field environment. Must be a US citizen. Preferred Qualifications Current or prior experience working on the Aircrew Electronic Warfare Tactical Training Ranges (AEWTTR) program.
