Job Description
Are you an education expert? We are currently seeking to represent an experienced SENCO on a part-time basis for one of our Smethwick, Sandwell (B67) based primary schools. We are supporting a well-supported primary school with their need for a temporary qualified SENCO.
If you are an experienced school SENCO, who is available immediately and able to travel to Smethwick, Sandwell, West Midlands we would be keen to speak with you. We are a locally based, family run recruitment business specialising in Education. With over 13 years’ worth of experience supporting education settings and candidates across primary, secondary and SEND divisions, Education Experts provide you with a personal service like no other. We have a vested interest in providing support to our West Midlands based schools and education professionals. Choosing us to support your needs will give you access to a range of opportunities exclusively due to the long standing, trusting relationships we have built with like-minded candidates, schools and multi academy trusts.
This primary school-based SENCO job is offered on a part-time basis, two days per week. The role is covering a period of recruitment whilst the school seek a permanent appointment, and you will have the opportunity to make an application later in the academic year. This is an ongoing post likely to be for the remainder of the academic year. We are happy to receive applications from SENCO’s who have worked in any type of education setting, ideally with primary aged pupils.
We are fully committed to safeguarding all children within our schools. In order to be successfully shortlisted in any of your applications with us we will require the following:
A relevant UK based NASENCO qualification.
Substantial experience working within an education setting.
All required documents for safer recruitment processing including, but not limited to a valid right to work proof.
Exceptional references.
Once shortlisted, a one-to-one interview will be scheduled with your dedicated consultant to discuss your SENCO experience and personal requirements.
Proposed start date: November 2024 or January 2025
Salary: Daily Rate: £180 to £230 per day
