Class Two HGV drivers

Insight Employment are recruiting for experienced Class Two HGV drivers to work for a local client of ours in Bedford.

You will be doing deliveries with the assistances of a drivers mate and full training will be given.

Duties: -

• Multi drop deliveries driving lorries up to 26 tonnes, delivering stock to their customer.
• Supporting the Drive Mates & Warehouse team in loading/Unloading stock.
• Building excellent working relationships with their customers & other departments.
• Greeting and liaising with clients upon delivery.
• Lifting heavy.
• Using your knowledge of the local region to safely deliver on-time.
• Holding health & safety at the forefront of all processes.

Requirements: -

• Must have HGV class two experience for a minimum of a year.
• Must have a valid CPC card/Tacho licence.
• Must have had your licence for at least one year, have a maximum of 6 points (no CD, DD, DR, IN endorsements).
• Must be happy with start times between 06:00 - 07:30 until finish.
• Must be reliable.
• Must by physically fit due to heavy lifting.
• Must have great customer service.
• Must have good geographical knowledge.
• Must be able to speak, read and write English.

Hours

Monday - Friday 06:00 start to finish.

Rates

£15.00 - £16.00 per hour depending on experience

This is ongoing work and a temp to perm position to a suitable candidate.
