Maintenance Manager

ITP manufacturing are currently partnered with a fast paced manufacturer based in Worksop who are looking to add a talented Maintenance Manager to their growing team.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Maintenance Manager to join our dynamic team in Worksop. The ideal candidate will possess an electrical degree and have a strong understanding of electrical processes, ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of our manufacturing equipment. This role is critical in maintaining our production capabilities and supporting our commitment to quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee the maintenance department, ensuring all equipment is maintained to the highest standards to minimise downtime.

- Develop and implement maintenance strategies, including preventive and predictive maintenance programs.

- Lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to enhance their skills and performance.

- Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify issues and implement corrective actions.

- Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption to operations.

- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory, and equipment performance metrics.

- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the maintenance team.

- Manage the maintenance budget, including forecasting and controlling costs related to repairs, parts, and labour.

- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in maintenance practices and technologies.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

- Proven experience in a maintenance management role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

- Strong understanding of electrical processes, systems, and troubleshooting techniques.

- Excellent leadership and team management skills.

- Proficient in using maintenance management software and tools.

- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
