Role Description
The purpose of this role is to provide support to the QS team in providing cost management to the business, to ensure value for money for both the customer and Clarke.
Responsibilities
Delivery/Contractual Management
- Requesting sub-contract orders via commercial admin team and via Clarkes project management tool.
- Valuing work conducted in the month, to ensure accurate turnover reporting and budget correction
- Monthly sales forecasting for you allotted projects.
- Advising on the Schedule of Rates and inclusions / exclusions within the Contract
Client Management
- Requesting client purchase order cover
- Keep up to date receipting schedules to allow timely submissions of claims to the client
Supplier Management
Negotiating rates with Key and new subcontractors
Systems
- Up-dating budget costs and sales in the internal costing system
People
- Consulting with both the Acquisition and Design department on a day-to-day basis to ensure accurate reporting.
Data
- Keeping key trackers and Company data base (Site Tracker) up to date with commercial information.
Finance/Budget
- Regular issue of the receipting schedule to client, and if applicable the chasing of, to maximise invoicing each month.
- Consulting with internal departments to close any blockers to claiming PMS's.
- Understand the Schedule of rates and the payment milestones on the contracts on which they are working.
Governance and compliance
Ensure all tasks are undertaken in accordance with the appropriate Customer and Clarke Telecom guidance
To undertake any other duties which fall within the job holder’s capabilities; aligned to normal duties that management may reasonably request. To continually seek improvements in the way your function operates within the business.
Some travel to other UK headquarters required. Late or weekend working may be required
Qualifications/Knowledge/Experience: GCSE B Grade English and Math's.
Essential: Must have a flair for numbers and a proficient level of excel spreadsheets

Salary - £23,000 - £26,000
